In you are interested in operating a business in the Town of East Windsor and the business name will be something other than your own, the State of Connecticut requires a Trade Name Certificate to be filed in the Town Clerk's Office or to register with the Secretary of the State's office as a corporation or limited liability company.
If you discontinue operating your business in the Town of East Windsor you will need to file a Discontinuance of Trade Name Certificate in the Town Clerk's Office.
The filing fee for either an Adoption of Trade Name Certificate or a Discontinuance of Trade Name Certificate is $5.00
