Man in Critical Condition after Crash

EAST WINDSOR - An Enfield man was in critical condition today in Hartford Hospital after being ejected from his vehicle when his car hit a tree Sunday morning, police said.
Michael Quagliaroli Jr., 23, of 21 Deep Wood Road, was traveling south on South Main Street when he lost control of his Jeep and hit three trees, according to Sgt. Michael Hannaford. Quagliaroli was ejected from the Jeep upon impact with the third tree, police said.
It appears Quagliaroli was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to police.
At the scene he appeared to have possible neck and spinal injuries and a significant laceration at the back of his head, Hannaford said.
Life Star helicopter transported him to Hartford Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition today, according to a hospital spokesperson.
