EAST WINDSOR - A 3-month-old infant who was revived by emergency workers after being found unresponsive at a local day-care home died Friday at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, officials said.  Emergency personnel had revived the unresponsive infant after responding to a 911 call at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at a duplex at 82A Main St., in the Broad Brook section of town, police said.

When Police Officer Byron Smith arrived at the scene he initiated CPR, and the infant was transported via ambulance to CCMC.
The baby boy's condition had been reported as stabilized that night at the hospital, police said.

According to Sgt. Michael Hannaford, the incident "involved suspicious circumstances" because the infant "was found with blood around its nose and mouth."

"An autopsy has been completed and attended by our detectives," Police Chief Edward J. DeMarco said today.
No arrests have been made, DeMarco said, adding that the investigation by detectives and state police is still ongoing.
The infant's name cannot be released because of the ongoing criminal investigation, DeMarco said.

The infant was being cared for at an unlicensed in-home day-care facility where Patricia Goodnough lives at 82A Main St. That address is not on the state health department's list of licensed day-care homes.
