During the next few weeks the Parks and Recreation Department will partner with the EW Chamber of Commerce, the Broad Brook Fire Department and Enfield Twin Rinks to bring Holiday Cheer to the residents of East Windsor. Sign up today for the North Pole Connection! Santa will be making his calls to East Windsor children on Tuesday December 13th between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Be sure to get your childs wish list into us by Friday December 9th.
BBFD TORCHLIGHT PARADE AND CAROL SING: We will once again be teaming up with the Broad Brook Fire Department to bring you the Torchlight Parade and Carol Sing. This event is held at the Broad Brook Fire House on Main Street in Broad Brook, Saturday, December 17th (Snow Date: Sunday, December 18th). Parade will start at 5:30,p.m. down Main Street, kids activities will start at 6:15 p.m. and Carol Sing will start at 7:00 p.m. Hayrides, refreshments, and crafts—as well as a visit from Santa himself— will take place. FEE: Donation of Non-perishable food items for local food bank.
Sign your family up for the Holiday Lights Contest sponsored by the Parks and Rec. Department and the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce. The The contest applies to residents and businesses: judging expertise will be provided by the East Windsor Senior Center. Prizes will be awarded - 1st,2nd, and 3rd prize for residents and 1st prize - The Holiday Spirit Award - for businesses. Judging will take place the week of December 19th from 5-8 p.m. Please register by December 12th.
OPEN SKATING AT TWIN RINKS: Wednesday, December 28th at Enfield Twin Rinks, 1 Prior Road, Enfield from 12:00-2:00 p.m.This program is $4 per skater and open to all East Windsor residents. Skate rental will be available on a first-come first- serve basis for $3 per rental. Open to East WIndsor Residents ONLY!
