LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR

The following ordinance was adopted in special town meeting, duly warned and held on October 31,1973 and shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the publication thereof:

Ordinance Establishing The Conservation Commission TO PROMULGATE

REGULATIONS TO PROTECT THE WETLANDS AND WATER COURSES WITHIN THE
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR.

BE IT ORDAINED: Pursuant to the Provisions of Public Act No 73-571 of the 1973 Session of the Connecticut General Assembly, specifically Section III, the Conservation Commission of the Town of East Windsor is hereby designated as the Inlands Wetlands Agency as provided for by Public Act 73-571.
The Conservation Commission acting as the Inlands Wetlands Agency is further authorized to promulgate such regulations, in conformity with the regulations promulgated by the Commissioner of Environmental Protection, pursuant to Section 5 of No. 155 of Public Acts of 1972, as are necessary to protect the wetlands and water courses within the territorial limits of the Town of East Windsor.
The Conservation Commission acting as the Inland Wetlands Agency, shall serve as the sole agent for the licensing of regulated activities as provided for by Section III of Public Act. No. 571 of the 1973 Session of the General Assembly.
