LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting duly warned and held on May 25, 1978 and shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the publication thereof:
ORDINANCE CREATING A SPECIAL REVOLVING FUND FOR THE
EAST WINDSOR POLICE DEPARTMENT SPECIAL DUTY POLICE WORK.
Be it ordained, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-148 of the Connecticut General Statutes, a special Revolving Fund is created for the East Windsor Police Department for Special Duty Police Work.
The purpose of said fund is to pay police officers who perform private duty police work, and to receive funds from those persons or companies who pay for the private duty police work. The account will be operated on a revolving basis and the initial funds shall be placed into the fund as directed by the East Windsor Police Commission. All fund received from billing of private duty police work shall be deposited directly to said account.
The account shall be designated as the East Windsor Police Department Special Duty Account, and shall be under the direction and control of the Treasurer of the Town of East Windsor.
