TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting duly warned and held on December 16, 1986. Said ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the publication thereof.
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN HISTORIC PROPERTIES
STUDY COMMITTEE FOR THE TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
BE IT ORDAINED, that the First Selectman, as provided under provisions of Section 7-147q (a) of the Connecticut General Statutes, appoint an Historic Properties Study Committee for the purpose of making an investigation of the Towns historic properties. The Committee established under the provisions of this section shall consist of five (5) regular and three (3) alternate members who shall be electors of the municipality holding no salaried municipal office. Such alternate members shall when seated have all powers and duties of a member of the Committee. If a regular member of such Committee is absent or has a conflict of interest, the chairman of the Committee shall designate an alternate to so act, so choosing alternates in rotation so that they shall act as nearly equal a number of times as possible. If an
alternate is not available in accordance with such rotation, such fact shall be recorded in the minutes of the meeting. Duties of the Commission are set forth in C.G.S.A. Section 7-147q (a) through (h), and any amendment thereto.
