The Park and Recreation Commission is comprised of five members appointed for a four-year term by the Borad of Selectmen. The Commission is empowered to maintain, manage and regulate areas identified as parks, playgrounds and recreation. This includes 7 parks, 13 soccer, and 14 baseball fields as well as public areas around the schools, the Town Hall, the Annex, and the Town Greens.
Last year the Park and Recreation Commission instituted a new policy for non-resident use of East Windsor Park. Non-residents may use the Park as a guest of a resident or by renting a pavilion or attending a pavilion function. The Commission has received many positive comments from the residents regarding this.
