Real Estate Taxes

Real Estate taxes are billed out once a year in two installments, July and January.  The Tax Office does not rebill for the January installment. If you pay off your mortgage and escrow the taxes, please notify the Tax Office. This is important so we can get a bill to you and update your account with a proper mailing address replacing the escrow company.  Address changes must be submitted by for to the Assessor’s Office and Tax Office (see Address Change Form).  Real estate may be paid with check, cash, credit or debit.

Delinquent real estate taxes may be subject to additional collection fees and proceedings.  Delinquent real estate accounts without consistent payments for 3 installments or 1 owner with multiple properties with a delinquent balance exceeding $7,500.00 will be sent to the attorney for tax sale.  If your account is with an attorney, you must make payment through the attorney.
