TAX DEFERRED PROGRAM JULY 2020

The Town of East Windsor is offering a Deferred Tax Program to taxpayers on the 2019 Grand List for July 2020 taxes only as required by the Governor’s Executive Orders 7S and 7W. This means that taxpayers will have the option to delay paying their first installment taxes on their real estate, personal property, motor vehicle, sewer, C-Pace, Fire District taxes until October 1, 2020 without interest or penalty. On October 2, 2020, interest will be charged back to the Original Due Date of July 1, 2020 (6% Interest) if not paid.

For taxpayers there is no application or notice needed.

Landlords, residential and commercial, need to apply. Application is on the Tax Collector’s website and is DUE TO TAX COLLECTOR BY JULY 1, 2020.
