April Programs & Events

April is a busy month for Parks & Recreation!  We have programs starting for both children and adults, as well as our annual Easter Event.  For more information or to register for programs, please visit www.EastWindsorRec.com.

Futsal & Street Soccer at East Windsor Middle School

This program is a major step in developing player's ball skills and increasing ball confidence that they can bring back to their school, town and club soccer teams!  Price includes Futsal shirt.
Dates: 4/2 - 5/28 (No 4/16)
Time: Tuesdays 3:00-4:00pm
Grades: 5-8
Fee: $80.00

Location: EWMS Gym

Spring Yoga with Diane Ross

Dates: Mondays 4/1-6/3 (No 4/15, 5/27) Wednesdays 4/3-5/29 (No 4/17)
Time: 6:15pm-7:30pm (Please do not arrive earlier than 5:45pm)
Location: East Windsor Middle School Health Room (use loading dock entrance to school)

Fee: Residents $30.00 once a week, $45.00 twice a week; Non-Residents $35.00 once a week, $50.00 twice a week; Walk-Ins $5.00 per class  

Zumba with Cee

Party yourself into shape with instructor Cee Khamsaeng as Zumba returns to East Windsor Parks & Recreation!
Dates: 4/4 - 5/30 (No 4/18)
Time: 6:00-7:00pm
Location: East Windsor Middle School Health Room (use loading dock entrance to school)

Fee: Residents $30.00; Non-Residents $35.00; Walk-Ins $5.00 per class

Mad Science - Space and Beyond!

Dates: 4/8 - 5/20 (No 4/15)
Time: Mondays 3:40-4:40pm
Location: Broad Brook School Art Room
Grades: K-4

Fee: $89.00 per session

"Love Grows Here" Decoupage Flower Pot Class

Join Erica Giroux from the Playful Peacock for this 2 hour long kids class to create a one of a kind decoupage flower pot!  Perfect for children of all ages, tissue paper and modge podge will be used to decorate ceramic flower pots.  Each pot will come with a bag of dirt and seeds to plant inside your pot!
Date: Wednesday April 17th
Time: 5:00-7:00pm
Location: Town Hall Annex (25 School Street)

Fee: $15.00 per project

Soccer Shots at Abbe Road

An engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development.  Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best in class coaching, curriculum, and communication.  Visit ct.ssreg.org to register!
Dates: Thursdays 4/25 - 6/13
Time: Mini 5:30pm; Classic 6:15pm
Ages: Mini (2-3) & Classic (4-5)
Location: Abbe Road Soccer Fields (Jr. Field)

Fee: $70.00 (+$25.00 registration fee, payment plans available)

Abby's Social Club - April & May

In partnership with the EW Leo Club & East Windsor Parks & Recreation, Abby's Helping Hand is offering a weekly social club for special education students.  Activities will include bingo, crafts, music therapy and more!
Dates: 4/11 - 5/30
Time: Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm
Location: Town Hall Annex (25 School Street)

Fee: FREE to special education students

Ice Cream with the Easter Bunny - NEW Event for 2019!

Date: Thursday, April 11th
Time: 6:30pm
Location: East Windsor Middle School Cafe
Fee: $3.00 per person or $12.00 per family - pay at the door!
 
A friendly reminder that our Summer Programs (Summer Camp, Swim Lessons and CIT Program) are now open for registration!  Register now and have the ability to make payments towards the final balance at your convenience.
